Our 55th treble featured another Brazilian Serie A match up and two more MLB matches. The results were disappointing after our relative success in the last few days. In the football, there were no goals scored so the first line was a loss.
The Red Sox were expected to win comfortably against the Phillies but the door was absolutely shut and the Red Sox couldn’t manage a single run. The Phillies only needed a single run to win and they got it in their 8th innings to win 1-0.
The final and only winning line was the complete opposite with 19 runs altogether and the Rockies only slightly getting the better of their opponents to win 10-9.
