Another losing day with a loss of 4.92 points from 20 selections. There were four winning place bets with one horse winning outright.
I have re-read the system manual and the author suggests three different methods for using the system.
1. Back all qualifiers for a place without any further analysis
2. Back qualifiers to win after carrying out further analysis that is explained in the manual
3. Back qualifiers for a place after carrying out the analysis.
However, the author clearly states that he backs ALL qualifiers for a place without the additional analysis as he has found this to be the most consistent method of generating profits and it is this method I have adopted in the review.
On the author’s website there are daily “Highlighted” selections which are those he believes have a strong chance of winning but I have not reported on these as win market bets. Additionally, today he has noted several horses which he says he does not think have a chance of being placed. Why select them in the first place, then?
I really don’t think you can start muddying the water by showing profits from the results in the win market and then identify high risk selections as possible non contenders (I suppose if they get placed he will include in his results and if not placed, he will say they were not selected etc)
I intend to continue reporting on all selections in the place market which is the method the author claims has been the most consistent for profits.
