Hello Bloggers!

Gamekeeper Turns Poacher is another horse laying system being marketed by Sportsworld Publishing. The system rules are produced in Word format and the general presentation is not particularly pretty, not that that matters as long as it lives up to its claims on the sales website.

There are two systems which are both clearly explained and the rules are set out in a concise manner with Racing Post graphics to ensure there are no misunderstandings.

System 1 is based on finding shorter priced favourites using Racing Post data and sets a maximum Betfair lay price of 6.50 (11/2). There are nine rules to be met plus a couple of Betfair related price rules. The author claims he has never had a losing month in the last 5 years with an average strike rate of 82% and an average BSP of 4.65.

System 2 finds longer priced selections that are NOT favourites priced up to 10/1. Similar rules must be met but with a couple of additional rules concerning minimum number of runners and weight. The author claims this system has produced an average 90% strike rate in the last 7 years.

So far as I can tell, you could be laying more than one selection in the same race if there are qualifying selections for both system 1 and 2 in the same race.

Fortunately, there is a premium rate phone line available to get the daily selections which I consider is a very helpful additional service to make sure your selection process matches the system correctly.

As usual, I will post the number of daily bets and P/L after deducting 5% Betfair commission. First day of the trial is tomorrow, Monday 21st December.

Cheers
Jon
