We started the week with the bank down at a very disappointing 70 points, with both golf & football selections sharing the blame. With only 2 weeks to go of this review, it is almost certain to end in the red. Could we see some profits this week?
Golf Tips:
2 golf tournaments this week, the Tour Championship in the US, and the Italian Open in Europe. Only top 10 finisher selections this week – no match bets.
Again, despite selecting the winner of the Tour Championship (Henrik Stenson) and another 2 top 10 finishers, the odds were such that we still lost money. Another 1.5 points down bringing the overall performance to -22.2 points from 154 points staked
Football Tips:
The midweek Champions’ league selections continued the recent good run, with 2 winners from 2 (almost all the favourites won handsomely). However, it all went wrong on Saturday with Norwich failing to score against Villa (thanks to Brad Guzan’s penalty & other miracle saves) and Newcastle losing to Hull. 0.1 point gained from 4 points staked. Overall the football is 7.1 points down from 79 points staked.
So going into the last week we have the following
- Opening Bank 100
- Staked 235 points
- Loss to date: 31.33
- Closing bank 68.67
Hit rate is a paltry 37%, and the ROI is -13%.
