Having moved into positive territory, we were back in the red on the win betsl. Could we move things forward again?
E-mails were received in plenty of time, and I’m monitoring the performance of the tips in 2 ways – as a 2 point win bet (unless advised differently), and as a 1 point each way bet, starting with 150 points as the bank.
20th December – 2 selections, and no joy at all. 4 points lost on the win bets, 3 points each-way (too small a field for place bets on the 2nd race)
21st December – 2 selections, and a 2-1 winner breaks our losing run. Rather spoiled by a lowly position in the next race. 2 points gained on the win bets, 0.4 points each way.
So another losing couple of days
Bank 1: Win bets
Start Bank 150 points, 128 points staked, 6.38 points lost Closing bank 143.6. ROI -6%
Bank 2: Each way
Start Bank 150 points, 129 points staked, 1.65 points lost Closing Bank 148.4 ROI -1%
Hit rate: Wins 23% Place 55%.
