We have been on a bad run of late, and are well in the red – could we get back on track?
E-mails were received in plenty of time, and I’m monitoring the performance of the tips in 2 ways – as a 2 point win bet (unless advised differently), and as a 1 point each way bet, starting with 150 points as the bank.
29th December – 1 selection, beaten into 2nd place. 0.63 points lost each way, 2 points on the win bets
30th December – a single selection trailing in 6th of 7. 2 points lost.
31st December – 2 more selections, and 2 seconds, one @ 10-1. 1.25 points gained on each way, 4 points down on the win bets.
So with only 1 winner from the last 20 selections, we end 2013 in the following position
Bank 1: Win bets
Start Bank 150 points, 142 points staked, 20.38 points lost Closing bank 129.6. ROI -16%
Bank 2: Each way
Start Bank 150 points, 143 points staked, 7.73 points lost Closing Bank 142.27 ROI -6%
Hit rate: Wins 21% Place 55%.
We sorely need some winners to get the review back into the black in the New Year.
