We have been on a bad run of late, and are well in the red – could we get back on track in the New Year?
E-mails were received in plenty of time, and I’m monitoring the performance of the tips in 2 ways – as a 2 point win bet (unless advised differently), and as a 1 point each way bet, starting with 150 points as the bank.
1st January. A cracking start to the year with a 15/2 winner, and one unplaced. 13 points gained on the win bets, 7 points each way.
2nd January – Only 1 selection, which came 3rd in a 3 horse race! 2 points lost on the win bets, 1 point each way.
Bank 1: Win bets
Start Bank 150 points, 148 points staked, 9.38 points lost Closing bank 140.6. ROI -8%
Bank 2: Each way
Start Bank 150 points, 148 points staked, 1.73 points lost Closing Bank 148.27 ROI -1%
Hit rate: Wins 21% Place 55%.
So a decent start to the New Year.
