The first success of the year and a very welcome one for the Lay Bet Profits. Today’s selection was slowly into stride, then held up behind in touch, was ridden and made headway towards the stands side over a furlong out, went second inside the final furlong and kept on but made no impression on the winner.
The deficit is now 75.10 points.
