Two more sets of Lucky 15 selections yesterday. The first set drew a blank, with even Benfica at low odds failing to provide a winner. 15 points lost
The 2nd set of selections were another case of nearly, but not quite. The selection of FC Basel to beat Salzburg at 7.75 was inspired, and combined with Valencia @ 1.4 to generate a double at 10.85. After 2 minutes of injury time it looked as though we had a 50/1 treble on our hands – but a late equalizer for Napoli spoilt things. A 5 point gain – but it was so nearly 105 points!
Opening Bank: 250
Stakes : 480 points
Loss: -77.04 points
Closing Bank: 166.24
Note that with the strike rate at 29%, placing singles on these selections would have generated a small gain yesterday, and so far would have lost 26.55 points from 126 points staked.
