Hi Bloggers

Well, here we go with Day 1 of this system. I deliberately failed to mention in the introduction that there is one rule relating to the odds for these selections – the odds must be between 3/1 and 13/2 for the bet to take place. I did not know initially if this was a rule, or something that changed from day to day, but seeing three days worth of selections has shown me that it is a rule! It seems quite a ‘high range’ for laying, but that is just an observation on my part. I have also decided, for the purposes of this review, to use the published Betfair SP, to keep things simple, rather than looking around for the best price during the day. The system recommends using Betfair, so this seems reasonable to me. Let me know if you have any comments or better suggestions!

So, on with the selections for day one. I was surprised to see that there were 17 selections, including 2 or 3 from the same race sometimes! That said, the amount of selections falling outside the odds range was large, so there were not that many bets. In summary, there were 17 selections on the day.  Of these, 3 were non runners and 7 fell outside the odds range, so that left us with 7 bets. Of these, 6 lost and 1 won (at 5/1). We therefore won £120 but lost £100, leaving us with an overall profit of 1 point or, in the case of this review, £20.

The starting bank was £1,000 so the cumulative bank at the end of day one stands at £1,020 or a profit to date of 1 point at level stakes.

Enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend and I look forward to tomorrow’s racing.

Kind regards

Tony
