Daily Doubles

Sgt Mangog – Daily Review

December 27th – Day 32

My job, as a reviewer for this site, is to report how a particular system is doing within the directions set out by the author. If I spot an angle where there may well be improvements, that is part of my duty to report as well – and this is the case regarding “Daily Doubles” – please scroll down to see the extra information I’ve included. As for the “Daily Doubles” as a stand-alone system, my analysis shows it really needs one or two good-priced double wins to get the profits they claim. One month reviewing this, and over 70 bets later, there’s still no winners, and for the punter, it’s fair to say many of them would have given up long ago. Their profits are based on actually attaining the early-priced odds quoted, and a problem for the punter might be the timing of their mails in which to get the odds in question. I’ve been quoted odds of 10/1, yet seen it 3 hours before a race at 4/1. As is usual, most tipster sites promote how well they’re doing, and put bad results tucked away in a corner where it’s easier to miss – sure they’re on show, but it’s not the first page any punter will see. This system charges £37 a month (cheaper for longer periods) so when you take that into account, this system is -114 points for the last 31 days. I did my own research, via The Racing Post, using the races provided in this system – I don’t claim to be a tipster, but my selections finished ahead of this system’s bets about 80% of the time…so did The Racing Post’s, so it’s quite right to question this system. In fairness to the “Daily Doubles” author, he has had 18/126 single winners, which is a 14.29% strike rate, and some of those have been good-priced, assuming anyone could’ve gotten the early-odds. Even doing just the £1 level stakes on single bets did better than the “doubles” system – won £117.50, but spent £126…a loss of £8.50 + the £37 for the month subscription…so £45.50 notes down. This is turning more into a “blog”, which was unintentional, apologies for that, but I can only report the facts for this system, the punters can make up their own mind.

Good luck getting the early-priced odds which the “Daily Doubles” assures you can get. Just make sure you’re awake when the email tips come in, and also that you have betting accounts with the websites they quote.

will post results later – presently, there’s 2 double-bets for today

I did a thorough analysis of previous results and even betting E/W (as opposed to a straight win-double bet) would mean a bank loss. What worked out more favourable was betting on each horse separately in race-card order obviously…Going back over the previous results and doing the same thing, gave more positive results for our bank balance. Will keep any readers’ updated daily on this – see below as I will add my own figures separately 🙂

Power to the punters!!…hopefully!

Footnote – “virtual” gambling should be avoided, in my opinion. I’ve yet to meet any person who has won on virtual betting and then walked away with their winnings, never to return. They’re just as bad as the supermarkets putting sweet tempters directly in front of the tills. It’s very tempting to put some money into a virtual machine whilst waiting for a live race to start. Just avoid them for your own health. Same as online virtual casinos…ever tried it? That has got to be as fixed as buying something brand new which doesn’t need fixing, because it’s fixed just nicely already, thank you. Forget it. I’m honestly surprised more people don’t see it. If you want to do something more worthwhile with your money, give it to me, and I will tell you that you would’ve lost had you done virtual gambling 🙂
