Pro Footy Tips Review Day 7
24th January 2017
Sgt Smithy – Reviews Pro Footy Tips
We had two selections emailed out for Tuesday. I must admit that one of the two looked like absolute madness whilst the other seemed like a great value bet. The picks were for Oldham to beat Peterborough in League one and Nuneaton to win against Salford in the National League North.
Oldham were 1 point off the bottom while a win for Peterborough would have put them 1 point off the play off spots. I couldn’t see goals for Oldham as they’d only scored 5 in 12 games at home this season. Their opponents had been strong away from home and were third in the away table going into the match. For me, the odds of 3.1 weren’t near enough to justify a bet on Oldham but they managed to triumph 2 – 0 over Peterborough and give us our second win of the review.
The other match was the complete opposite. A Nuneaton side who scored 9 in their last 3 matches and in good form were travelling to a similarly in form team in Salford. The odds for the Nuneaton win were a very appealing 4.33 but the end score was a surprising 4 – 0 and a loss for our bet.

Our banks are looking a little healthier now but it’s still in the negative and we’re going to need to see a few more wins to get back on track. Let’s hope tomorrow surprises us with another good win.
