Footy Multiplier Week 1
5th February 2017
Sgt Smithy – Reviews Football Multiplier
Welcome to the first week of our review for Football Multiplier.
At first glance, it appears that this service is a step up from the weekend gambler, providing some useful guidance for those who enjoy a weekly flutter. All the selections I’ve seen have been for the premier league and the championship and the system appears to focus on hitting the jackpot each weekend rather than concentrating on ROI in the long term.
My main concern for the system is the need to build a short term bankroll from the early matches in order to bet larger amounts later in the weekend. If match selection is based on the need to bet on a Friday night or Saturday lunchtime, there’s no guarantee that there will be high quality value picks, particularly in such well known, competitive markets. That said, I’m moving forward with an open mind and I wish our tipster all the best. I’m looking forward to seeing how the system performs and I think it will be great fun.
Round 1
The first round consists of 3 bets, aimed at increasing our weekend bankroll in order to bet bigger in the second round. These selections involved Sheffield Wednesday on the Friday night and the Saturday lunchtime clash between Chelsea and Arsenal. With one winner, the bank grew by 30%
Round 2
All of the returns from the first round were reinvested in the second round which featured Tottenham Vs Middlesbrough. The selection was for over 2.5 goals. Only one goal was scored in the game so all of the original stakes were lost and the main bets were over for the week.
The 3pm Acca
An extra feature of this service is a tip for an accumulator bet every weekend. This week the following 5-fold was advised:
Hull V Liverpool – Liverpool
Watford V Burnley – Watford
West Brom v Stoke – West Brom
C Palace V Sunderland – C Palace
Everton V Bournemouth – Everton
Liverpool and Crystal Palace suffered shock losses so with only 3 out of 5 lines winning, this weeks acca was unsuccessful.
