Despite all the games available in the European top flights and the near 100 matches in England, our tipster opted for a single selection from the Scottish League 2 on Saturday. Independent of recent results, I find that reassuring as making a good selection is as much about refusing the bad value bets as it is finding a good one.

The tip was for Montrose to beat Forfar, but neither team could manage a goal and our bet was unsuccessful.
