Annoying few days to be honest. 5places at prices of 14/1×2, 8/1 and 7/1×2 tell the story, bit of better luck and it’s a completely different story, that’s racing these runs happen we move on…

Some fairly good action at Lingfield tomorrow, we go again.

Tips for Tuesday 21st November, 2017

Two looks worth keeping on side in here at each way prices. Firstly Rose Berry is on a handy mark and really caught the eye last time out at Kempton. She was unlucky not to finish much closet that day and is quite clearly well suited by an AW track. She has stall 2 tomorrow and the talented 7lb claimer Nicola Currie keeps the ride. She is getting to the know the horse now and should know what to do on board. Medici Banchiere is also interesting as he has dropped to a very handy mark and this drop back in trip should on racing evidence suit. He has plenty of early speed so 6f’s on an AW track should be right up his street, he has been mainly campaigned at a higher level and from a good draw he should find this contest much easier.

Middle Kingdom looks the most likely winner of this race and should do just that. He has stall 2, he reappeared with a good performance and the likely strong pace in this bigger field should suit. You quite simply have to have him on side. There is one if and that is if he bounces and for that reason I also want Fayez on side for the O’Meara and Tudhope partnership. He has been in fantastic form recently and although running of a career high mark he should relish conditions tomorrow. A fast pace over this longer trip should mean he can travel into it very strongly and it is interesting that he is Tudhope’s pick instead of the other O’Meara runner who back down below his last winning mark. Stall 7 is fine and he should run his usual solid race, if Middle Kingdom runs to form he should win this but as an each way alternative and a bounce saver Fayez also looks worth some each way support.
