D G Tips Review Day 51
Sgt Mick Review
21STDecember
Dear Member
Unlucky today, Strictly Carter finished fast for 2nd after trouble in running. Each way returns but really it should have been a winner, that’s racing luck. Winner made all, kicked of the bend and a little trouble in running for Strictly Carter was enough to see the winner home by a narrow margin.
Lacan finished strongly for 4th, the only horse to come from the back of the field. Loads of pace in the race but for one reason or another that pace didn’t materialise into a strongly run race.
These day’s happen, a small loss on the day we move on…
Tips for Thursday 21st December, 2017
8.15 Chelmsford – Nezar 15-2 widely available
0.5pts E/W fIN Unp -£10
0.5pts E/W fIN Unp -£10
Nezar looks worth keeping on side in here, nothing went right last time out over this C and D. Drawn wide, forced 4 wide throughout and then made to make an early move turning for home to give the horse any chance at all. That ruined his finishing kick but considering the trip he had being beaten only 3l’s was a very good run. He is much better drawn tomorrow in stall 1 while a 1lb drop in the weights looks a shade lenient to me. From that draw he should get the perfect tow around and that should see him go very close.
8.45 Chelmsford – Black Truffle 15-2 widely available
0.5pts E/W Won Return £55
0.5pts E/W Won Return £55
Black Truffle interests me dropping down to 6f’s for the first time in a while. He travelled so strongly through the race last time out and although he couldn’t real the winner in he still ran very nicely for 2nd place. He has stall 5 tomorrow, is clearly in good heart at present and Jack Blane franked his form from two starts back when dropped to 6f’s at Wolverhampton. I am hoping the same trick will work for Black Truffle in here.
2 selections today one winner and one unplaced. £20 Staked Return £55 profit on the day £35 The bank keeps growing.
