Daily Doubles

Sgt Mangog – Daily Review

December 26th Boxing Day, and I was ever-so-optimistic about Day 31, but….

My job, as a reviewer for this site, is to report how a particular system is doing within the directions set out by the author. If I spot an angle where there may well be improvements, that is part of my duty to report as well – and this is the case regarding “Daily Doubles” – please scroll down to see the extra information I’ve included. There’s a footnote below about “virtual gambling” if anyone is interested…

I advise getting “BEST GUARANTEED ODDS” at the earliest time. This system uses 1 point per bet, unless stated otherwise. N/R’s (if the price is taken early) is deemed as a lost bet unless the meeting/race was abandoned. Another colleague on this site has stated actually getting these early odds seemed fleeting at best, this is because we are sent “tips” random times of the night. So unless the punter is awake and has accounts with the relevant bookies, the better value odds will be hard to come by.

kempton 14.05 frodon 7/2 (lost) & kempton 14.40 my tent or yours 11/2 (lost)

kempton 14.05 frodon 7/2 (lost) & kempton 15.15 tea for two 20/1 (lost)

kempton 14.40 my tent or yours 11/2 (lost) & kempton 15.15 tra for two 20/1 (lost)

wolves 13.00 dakota city 8/1 (lost) & wolves 15.45 high baroque 9/1 (lost)

All double bets lost today – I’m beginning to think that posting the selections before the start of each day might be a better idea as any punter might get a better notions of which horses to avoid! Maybe I’m being cynical, it’s only been 31 days and 1/3 of the way into the review, let’s see if this system can pick up soon.

I did a thorough analysis of previous results and even betting E/W (as opposed to a straight win-double bet) would mean a bank loss. What worked out better was betting on each horse separately in race-card order obviously…Going back over the previous results and doing the same thing, gave more positive results for our bank balance. Will keep any readers’ updated daily on this – see below as I will add my own figures separately 🙂

Power to the punters!!…hopefully!

Total bets placed so far = 77

Total wins so far = 0

Total profit points so far = 0

Total spent so far = 77

Win points today = 0……….R.O.I. =  0%……….Strike Rate =  0%……….BANK =  -77 points

My figures….+£639.79 (avg +£20.64 (per day over 31 days)   strike rate 15% (9/60 winners)

Difference between this reviewed system vs my way of betting (using the same horses)

my bank £639.79 my ROI 55.82% my S/R 15%
review bank £-77.00 review ROI 0% review S/R 0%
difference £716.79 55.82% 15%

A racetrack is a place where windows clean people” – Danny Thomas

Footnote – “virtual” gambling should be avoided, in my opinion. I’ve yet to meet any person who has won on virtual betting and then walked away with their winnings, never to return. They’re just as bad as the supermarkets putting sweet tempters directly in front of the tills. It’s very tempting to put some money into a virtual machine whilst waiting for a live race to start. Just avoid them for your own health. Same as online virtual casinos…ever tried it? That has got to be as fixed as buying something brand new which doesn’t need fixing, because it’s fixed just nicely already, thank you. Forget it. I’m honestly surprised more people don’t see it. If you want to do something more worthwhile with your money, give it to me, and I will tell you that you would’ve lost had you done virtual gambling 🙂
