A return to normal weekend football brings a rare losing day for Final Score.
In the Asian Handicaps +0.75 was not enough for Sunderland but more than enough for Espanyol.
One all and a loss of just 0.16 points in this area.
3-3 in the singles as well, with Espanyol (at 5.25) Leicester and Portsmouth winning, but Sunderland and Wigan losing and
Manchester United (for 5 points) only managing a draw. Another loss of 1.15 points in this area.
Both of our accumulators started with Manchester United, so both our safe one (5 points with Arsenal and PSG) and our
speculative one (2 points, add Sunderland) failed.
An overall loss of 8.31 points, largely due to Southampton’s 89th minute goal.
IF (a very big word I know) this goal had not been scored I would be reporting a profit of 12.84 points, a swing of 21.15
points. I happen to know our Final Score man uses £100 a point on his results sheet, so a very costly goal.
A lesson there perhaps about eggs and baskets, no matter how secure they seem.
