Day 13 and unlucky for our Selective Handicap series, although to be honest I don’t think there was much bad luck involved, none of our bets were even close. On our Goal Market series we won two out of three, but lower stakes and low odds meant that this did not make much impression on the days result, the second worse so far.
After I posed the question about staking yesterday, John from Goal Power contacted me. He explained that as the series does well and the bank increases, then the stakes are reduced. So because the Goal Markets series is well in front we are scaling back the stakes. On the other hand the Selective Handicaps are behind, and the worse it gets the more the stakes will increase. This is the opposite of the way most people would do it, but it does have it’s advantages. The disadvantage as far as I am concerned is that we are wasting bets that have been found and researched by staking a relatively small amount on them. Let’s see how it progresses.
