Sometimes teams in the NBA just have an off night shooting the basketball which is very difficult to see coming, and that was certainly the case with Denver last night. The Nuggets were quite dominant inside as I expected but barely made a single shot that wasn’t a dunk or layup.

 

In the end Denver went 0-22 from beyond the 3-point line, breaking the previous all time record for 3-point futility of 0-20, which strangely enough was set by Portland just 10 days ago. Portland were excellent on the perimeter this time, sinking 14 3-pointers, and that 42 point differential beyond the arc was what swung the game and gave them an 8 point win.

 

We do have 3 straight bets, one of which we’ll combine with 2 heavy favorites for the daily parlay.
