Hardcourt Heroes – December 20

Hi Bloggers,

Very close to a clean sweep of 7 winning bets last night with our only loss coming in the last game of the day, where Golden State stormed back from 14 down in the 4th quarter to take a 3 point lead, but then simply ran out of gas in the final minutes in a 4 point loss to Sacramento. So, 6-1 on the day for profit of 2.59 points, with a few of our picks winning at rather short odds.

The NBA is catching it’s breath tonight with just 3 games on the schedule, but we do have 2 single bets to make which we’ll also combine for the daily parlay. First up we like defending champions Miami to come up with a win in Dallas. Dallas do play well at home but have the 4th worst defense in the NBA so should really struggle to contain Lebron James and the league’s 4th best offense.

We also like Denver to come up with a road win at Portland. The Trail Blazers are tough at home and have a good young starting five but not much depth beyond that with one of the lowest scoring benches in the NBA. With leading scorer Lamarcus Aldridge out injured they should really struggle to keep up with a very deep Denver squad that plays a very past face and should have a huge rebounding advantage.
