After an unusual day on Thursday, Friday was back to business as usual with a single treble.

In the single tennis pick, Cilic and Isner provided a great match. Cilic had a good second set where he won 6-2 but the first and third sets saw neither player lose their serves and eventually both went to tiebreak. Cilic couldn’t maintain his form during the tiebreaks and lost 4 serves each time to lose those sets and eventually the match.

Guangzhou was given a run for their money also but despite being given a red card and playing poorly in the second half, they won 2-1. An own goal from Lask Linz gave up the lead in their match and they drew 2-2 after 90 minutes.

All in all, a bad day all around, let’s move on to the weekend.
