Lay Bet Dominator – Days 25 to 30
21st October 2012
Hi, Sgt Colin here, with the updated results for Lay Bet Dominator.
The website suggests 3 potential staking plans;
a) fixed liabilities, whereby whatever the odds the liability remains the same on each bet in £ terms.
b) % liabilities, whereby the liability on each bet is a fixed % of the betting bank
c) fixed stakes, where the profit target for each bet remains the same in £ terms. Thus the higher the odds, the higher the liability.
Having made a very poor start, could we recover some of the bank, which had fallen to 65 points for staking option c)?
Day 25 – 15th October
2 selections – neither qualified for a bet
Day 26 – 16th October
3 selections, only 1 qualified – and it won its race.
Day 27 – 17th October
2 selections, 1 qualifying, and it won too. At this point the banks stood at a) 74.7 b) 75.2 c) 50.0
Day 28 – 18th October
3 selections, 1 qualifying – and it came 4th of 5
Day 29 – 19th October
2 selections, both qualified – and they came in 2nd & 3rd.
Day 30 – 20th October
8 selections. 5 qualified, and only 1 won. A much better run to end the week, with 7 out of the last 8 bets being winners.
Staking Plan a) Opening Bank 100, Staked 180 Loss 9.1 Closing bank 90.9 ROI -5.1%
Staking Plan b) Opening Bank 100, Staked 142.3 Loss 12.2 Closing bank 87.8 ROI -8.6%
Staking Plan c) Opening Bank 100, Staked 244.8 Loss 26.9 Closing bank 73.1 ROI -11.0%
So far the fixed profit target approach has been comfortably the least successful, with high staking levels on losing bets. Another improvement from a week ago – but still well in the red on all staking plans.
