Sgt Mick Reviews Layze Profits 

Firstly I would like to say I received a note above the selections today saying “I would suggest try to lay the horse 5-10 mins before the race starts, if the price has gone above 10.00 then I would advise not to lay the selection the same goes if the horse is backed into less than 3.50”.

2.40 Ascot Burguillos BSP 5.96 Fin Last +4.75 pts

2.50 Newmarket Mountain Angel BSP5.68 Fin 7th +4.75 Pts

4.40 Chester Suitor BSP 3.41 Fin 10TH.

4.45York Byron Flyer BSP 2.8 Fin 2nd

There were 4 selections today and all 4 were winners,however if we strictly follow author’s recommendations about not laying under 3.5 or over 10 two of these would be’ No Bets’.In the case of SUITOR,4.40 Chester it is very likely that within 5-10 minutes before the off this runner was trading at 3.5 or greater so it may have been laid at that price. Personally I consider these recommendations as guidelines and would use my discretion if I were working the system. For the purposes of this trial ,however I only have the BSP. to use, as it is the only constant that I have. In these circumstances I have to deem these as two ‘ NO BETS’ and so for the purposes of calculating profits there were two winners today giving a profit of 9.5 pts.It is possible that this could work out as a’swings and roundabouts’ situation as I feel there may be some of these lower priced selections,deemed as ‘NO BETS’ in the future,which could turn out to be losers.
