I had the first losing day – it was my fault. I failed to see there were not enough funds in the Betfair market to cover my stakes and also failed to notice there was so little liquidity and that the match was about to start! Argh! I was stuck in-play trying to get the rest of my bet matched in an obscure market on an obscure football match that nobody was betting upon! I lost over £25. A lesson hard-learned.
The manual says that mistakes will be made while you are learning to be a good arber.
Unfortunately the arbs are still mainly only coming in for soccer – I’ve only had three arbs on other sports. Hardly any notifications come through for other sports. I suppose this is a bad time of year to be doing this review. I was surprised that no arbs came through for the Barca ManU match! There would have been plenty of liquidity on that match!
Anyway I’ll have to be even more cautious with obscure soccer matches and Betfair’s liquidity. On the plus side, I should be getting some free bets coming though tomorrow.
Here are all the arbs for yesterday and one completed one from day 8 for a net loss of -9.04.
All terms are described in the RebelBetting manual. CM=Cross Market Arb; EU=European handicap; AH=Asian Handicap; Moneyline or 3-Way= 1×2 match odds; 2-Way=Draw No Bet; Middle=Arb where max profit is made if the middle option (eg Draw) wins.

This profit includes the extra (mistake) profit of 112.32 from 21st May. But without this mistake, I’m still in profit by £150.82
