Not a great first few days for the review, can it improve?
Two sets of Lucky 15 selections on Day 5 (8th March) – and we had another pretty disastrous day, with the first 4 selections going down, and 2 winners from the second set, at odds of 2.2 & 2.1. So another 21.1 points lost on Saturday. Could Sunday rescue the situation?
Well again there were 2 sets of selections – and they seemed to smack of desperation, with the lowest odds of 3/1 and the longest 14/1! If the lucky 15 had all come in we’d have gained 8058 points from the first selections and 5037 from the 2nd. As it was, we had no winners at all (although the Man City / Wigan draw bet was pretty close), and lost 30 points.
Opening Bank: 250
Stakes : 150 points
Loss: -99.27 points
Closing Bank: 150.73
So the bank is down by almost 40% in 6 days – not an encouraging start.
Note that despite a poor strike rate of 18%, placing singles on these selections would have lost a (slightly) more palatable 21.17 points from 40 points staked.
