Firstly an apology as I miscalculated the E/W winnings in the last race yesterday. This has now been corrected. I was also calculating ROI based on number of picks but since The Snout occasionally has 2pt choices I will in future calculate ROI on points rather than picks.

Very unlucky with Verni who would have set the review alight had he managed to get up at 65.47BFSP, but that is the difference between making and losing money in this game.
The Snout always gives a paragraph recap of the days bets with his picks for the next day. I thought you might like to see what he had to say tonight as a bit of flavour:
“Day 4 saw no change in fortune. VERNI was travelling so well into the straight but just found 1 too good at 25-1 for good place money. Dandridge then finished 4th, beaten a couple of lengths despite having to be checked three times in the final half mile, for more place returns. I won’t go into too much detail now as I will be putting together a review of the four days but in all honesty I feel extremely unfortunate to not come out with a more profitable week, with both Verni and Pendra being 2 to pick out in the last 36 hours.”
