Welcome to the first day of our Sports Guru review.

I expect that we’re going to cover lots of baseball, golf, tennis, speedway and other sports and I’m looking forward to seeing how the service performs. Can one tipster have such a wide knowledge of numerous different sports to make a profit across all of them? We’ll find out over the next 3 months!

The first day kicked off with 3 baseball singles and a treble involving them all in one bet. Only one bet won with the Astros-Yankees game being tipped for over 9.5 runs and ending up 7-6 to the Astros. The initial email was sent out at 20:19 but mentioned only the game to bet on and not the over 9.5 runs tip. Due to the format of the emails, it seemed to myself that the Astros were tipped to win and it didn’t occur that there was a line missing in the email. Another email was sent out with a correction at 21:11 to update the day’s tips. Not realising that there was an error, I had already searched for and placed the 4 bets before the first game begun at 21:10 so two of my bets were incorrect. This is obviously a bad start to the review, hopefully all future emails will be correct in the first instance.

The Cubs and Nationals both lost in the other 2 lines and treble so it was only one out of four for the first day of the review. Incidentally, the Washington Nationals were names as the Washington Capitals in the email which is the name of Washington’s NHL team. This was probably just a mistake rather than a lack of understanding but two errors on the first day doesn’t bode well.
