This update will include the outright tips for Wimbledon and combined with a busy day of regular tips, it will be a long one.

On the 2nd of July we received 9 tips for Wimbledon, 5 in the men’s competition and 4 for the women’s. 6 of the 9 picks were for the outright winners whilst the other 3 were for players to win their respective quarters. There was some good reasoning behind the selections for the men’s competition, which largely held true and it showed in the tips as both of the finalists were tipped. Federer was tipped to win the competition, which he did and it earned 6.75 points from the advised stakes. More impressive was the pick for Cilic, the other men’s finalist who was tipped each way and returned a profit of 9 points.
The women’s competition was unsuccessful as no picks were profitable. Our tipster had briefly mentioned that it would be an unpredictable tournament.
In total, the Wimbledon tips earned 5.75 points at the advised stakes or 4.25 points at level stakes.
Please note that the stakes for the each way selections below are the total stake, so where I’ve recorded 2 points, 1 point was advised at each way. All of the each way bets were half odds for 2 places.

The regular daily tips for Tuesday involved 2 tennis tips and 4 baseball picks. Both of the tennis tips were unsuccessful with Cirstea losing and Bedene only winning 2-1 rather than the straight sets that was selected.
In baseball, there was a change of tact from the usual 3 selections and a treble. There were 6 picks but they were formed into 3 doubles and a 6-fold and no advised single bets. I’ll keep things simple by not listing too much more information but the following teams were tipped as doubles: Diamondbacks & Cardinals, Nationals & Dodgers, Indians & Giants. All 6 would have won but for the Indians losing in extra innings. Therefore 2 of the 3 doubles won and the 6-fold lost by a tiny margin.
