There were 2 emails on Monday from Anthony. The first came with 2 speedway picks for that evening. Unfortunately they were both unsuccessful and showed a loss of 5 points at the recommended stakes.
Following that, the second email had three selections for the MLB and a treble on all 3 lines. As it often does, the email contained good reasoning behind the picks. Despite each selection being given a -1.5 run handicap, all 3 singles and so also the treble won. We’ve seen a few of these style of bets now and it’s good to see one pay off. It’s only a shame that half of the profits were lost on the earlier speedway bets.
On the Wednesday before, we received 9 selections for The British Open. Each golfer was picked to win outright and each way bets were recommended. The Open was concluded on Sunday evening so I’m including the tips in this update. If you follow the advised staking plan, there was 17.5 points recommended in total. I completely agree with covering a number of potential golfers and to place them all at each way but perhaps the bank should be larger or the advised stakes should be smaller to reduce a potentially large loss of points. Despite Alex Noren placing in 6th position, both of the banks made a loss at The Open, -6.5 points at the advised plan or -3.5 at level stakes.
