Hi, have been away for a few days, so haven’t been able to post since the 3rd. With the exception of today, E-mails were received in plenty of time, and I’m monitoring the performance of the tips in 2 ways – as a 2 point win bet (unless advised differently), and as a 1 point each way bet, starting with 150 points as the bank. We have had a rough start to the review, with only 4 winning horses from 32 selections. Could we do better as we moved into December ?
4th December – 2 selections, and we had our second successive winner @5/2, and a third place. Win bets saw 3 points gained, place bets 2.53 up.
5th December – 2 selections. Very nearly a repeat of the previous day, with a 5/2 winner, and a third place – but the latter was out of the places in a 7 runner field. 3 points gained on the win bets, 1.125 points on the place bets.
6th December – 2 selections, and not quite so good. A 2nd & a 5th, so 4 points lost on win bets, 2.43 points down on place bets.
7th December – 2 selections, and our best day so far with a 13/2 winner followed by a 5/1 runner up. 11 points gained on the win bets, 8.38 points on the place bets.
8th December – 3 selections, and 2 more winners followed by a 2nd placed 10/1 shot. 6.87 points gained on the win bets, 6.34 points from place bets.
However, the gloss was slightly taken off the latter by a failure to receive the tips e-mail until this evening. This may be my e-mail provider, and the service does stress the need to look at the website, and not rely upon e-mails. I couldn’t do the latter as I don’t have access.
I will assume that subscribers did receive the tips on time – and have incorporated the gains into the figures – which look greatly improved, with almost 20 points gained over those 5 days from the win bets
