Having moved into positive territory, we were back in the red. Could we move things forward again?
E-mails were received in plenty of time, and I’m monitoring the performance of the tips in 2 ways – as a 2 point win bet (unless advised differently), and as a 1 point each way bet, starting with 150 points as the bank.
Nothing coming up to Christmas (from 22nd to 24th December)
26th December – 2 selections, including backing the highly rated The New One at 2.2. He came 2nd, the other selection came nowhere. 4 points lost on win bets, 2.7 points each way.
28th December – a single selection @ 4/1 which finished in 3rd. So 2 points gone
So another losing couple of days
Bank 1: Win bets
Start Bank 150 points, 134 points staked, 12.38 points lost Closing bank 137.6. ROI -11%
Bank 2: Each way
Start Bank 150 points, 135 points staked, 6.35 points lost Closing Bank 143.7 ROI -5%
Hit rate: Wins 22% Place 54%.
We sorely need some winners to get the review back into the black.
