9 Minute System – Day 5
19th November Day 5
The first race produced Back odds of 9.0 and Lay odds of 7.8 for variants 1 & 2. For variant 3 that one was outside the odds limit but I got another horse with Back odds of 7.0 and Lay odds of 7.2 which fitted the required criteria. Both horses lost.
The second race was a hopeless betting market with a short priced favourite and lots of outsiders. Nothing fitted the criteria for any of the variants. Fortunately we didn’t need to bet as we didn’t have a winner hanging over from the previous race. If we had needed to bet, the only available prices were one horse to Back at 7.0 and Lay at 9.0, which would not have been ideal, but if we had needed to we would have had to take them. Anyway we could leave race 2 alone with no bet.
Already it seems clear that although the system is mathematically guaranteed, it is going to be difficult at times to get the odds required for the maths to work.
