Today’s tips are all still to run, fingers crossed for some good performances.

Waarif ran a really solid race over this trip at Newcastle two starts back, he was then dropped back to a mile at this track last time out. He was badly outpaced early but made good late headway and was never stronger than at the finish. From a good draw in stall 5 he should find this step back up in trip very much in his favour and if he can improve just a little then he should be hard to beat in this race. He’s a big galloper so ideally I’d like to him just a shade more prominent than on his last two starts.

Dor’s Law went down as a big eye-catcher over this C and D last time out. Drawn out in the car park he made late progress into 2nd despite being last into the turn and having to come widest of all. That run needs seriously upgrading and although not best drawn tomorrow this is a slightly smaller field and the draw is just slightly more favourable. If getting a cleaner trip around he should prove very hard to beat.
