Small loss today, one poor tip, one awful ride and one place for each way returns. Poor day they happen, at least our name isn’t Rob Hornby. We move on…

Krystalite was awful. 10lb below his last winning mark, managed to get the lead so had no excuses at all. Got a good ride as well. Just a very poor horse on the decline, poor tip on my behalf.

Don’t really know what to say regarding Fran Berrys ride on Waarif. The horse was well backed, should have easily finished 2nd but after being switched 3 times for no reason at all the horse had nothing left to give. At 6-1 he was a great bet but as I always say the ride is vital.

Jessie Allan ran a great race for 3rd. Outpaced early he ran on to finish a good 3rd and each way returns. McDonald never gave up which was nice to see.

Very Honest ran well for 3rd in a better race than this last time out. He is a game front runner and always seems to show his best form around these tight turns. Down in grade tomorrow carrying just 9-4 he should find making all a shade easier at this level. Luke Morris keeps the ride which is eye-catching given he could have rode a few in here and from stall 5 he has a nice draw to break from.
