D G Tips Review Day 67

Sgt Mick Review

7th January

Dear Member

Great to land the Welsh Grand National winner with Raz De Maree and that gets us back on track for the month. We also added to this with Dors Law winning nicely at Kempton. Like I always say this is a long term game, I can’t stress that point enough.

We will have losing weeks, we will be on the wrong side of luck from time to time but if you stick to the system and the staking plan then you will make very good long term profit. It is as simple as that.

Last night…

Another somewhat unlucky 1/2l 2nd last night with Eljaddaaf. He was slow away from stall 1 and then didn’t get a clear run up the rail, quite clearly the right horse to be on but we have to settle for each way returns.

Kodiline finished strongly for 5th but a slow pace and bad positioning has been his undoing. He had the beating of the winner on form, weights and draw but the winner was placed in 2nd throughout whereas Kodiline was 3rd last from stall 2.

Mossy’s Lodge was awful. The form line was all there so I am left scratching my head with this one.

Onto today…

Really disappointed in Presumido. That’s as close as you come to a banker, well weighted, well drawn, solid form, track form, jockey form and yet doesn’t even finish in the first 3. I’m just glad we didn’t up the stakes.

Raz De Maree ran out a massive winner of the Welsh Grand National. James Bowen was superb on board and never gave up despite being hampered three times by falling horses. 16-1 winner gets us back on track.

Milansbar unseated after being hampered by one of the same fallers as Raz De Maree, not much you can do about this.

Topmeup travelled strongly into the race but was asked to go for a gap that wasn’t there. William Cox perhaps showing a lack of experience as the horse would easily of placed had he been brought wide.

Dors Law won nicely at Kempton. He was given a good ride by Hornby who was keen to make sure he wasn’t left with too much too do.

10pts up for the month after today so lets kick on now.
