So, today Sunday I was due to be away from home for most of the day, as an experiment to see what could be achieved with limited time, I gave myself 45minute to get some arbs. I got 4 arbs in that time. It was pretty intensive, checking the odds and all the bets as well as logging them accurately in the spreadsheet. But so long as I’ve set them correctly, I should make about 10 points profit from them when I check the results later today. I have to say that I personally would not be able to maintain that degree of concentration over a prolonged period, but it does show what can be achieved.
I want to make this review as real as possible, showing my use of the system in detail, mistakes and all. Once again today, on one of the arbs the odds disappeared on two out of three bets on one arb. I didn’t panic and waited for the odds to come back and again they improved in my favour.
Now that I know which bookie seems to change their odds more often than most, I will develop the habit of confirming bets with them before the other bookies in the arb.
I’ve completed logging the results and profits this evening and the profit on the 4 arbs was 11.83 points. Plus a Lay arb from yesterday came in with a profit of 2.21 points. Not bad for 45 minutes work this morning. Here is today’s spreadsheet of balances:
