There have been some issues with Pinnacle, in that the odds that Rebelbetting found were not there when the browser window opened to the event. This became quite time-consuming, chasing arbs that were not there. RebelBetting support have been great at getting on to this and Pinnacle have confirmed to them that they are aware of the problem and are looking into it.
So for two or three days I suspended including Pinnacle in my use of the software. As Pinnacle are one of the major Bookies that come up on the arbs, my opportunities have been few.
Yesterday I got 3 arbs for £8.30 profit. As Pinnacle appeared to have fixed their problem I went for an arb including them. I have the software set to only report events up to ten minutes before the off-time. So I went ahead and laid the first two bets and then the Pinnacle bet went wrong. It variously reported the wagering line had been suspended or that the odds had changed. This is not unusual for Pinnacle, so I kept retrieving the correct odds again and trying to place the bet. Over and over. After many attempts the markets got suspended because the match had started! So I was left with an exposure if there were under 2 goals. As this was the longest price on the arb and as there was nothing I could do, I just had to hope there was more than 1 goal. otherwise I could have lost £84.62. As it was there were quickly many goals so I was safe and my profit was locked in.
Looks like I’ll have to not use Pinnacle until I am certain they have fixed their odds reporting.
CM=Cross Market Arb; EU=European handicap; AH=Asian Handicap; Moneyline or 3-Way= 1×2 match odds; 2-Way=Draw No Bet; Middle=Arb where max profit is made if the middle opton (eg Draw) wins.
