Total Football Trading The Paper Chaser – Day 5
8th October 2011
Hi Bloggers, Sgt Colin here with the 5th day’s results for TFT The Paper Chaser.
Many more evening games being played yesterday, so plenty of games to chose from. In the event I chose 4 matches – albeit I’ve subsequently been advised by the guys at TFT that they don’t advise trading at above 2.3 until you are used to the system.
Finland v Sweden Lay Sweden at 1.64, Bought at 1.69 – Gain of 4.39 points
Cyprus v Denmark Buy Denmark at 1.48. Closed out when hit stop loss of 1.53. Loss of 3.27 points.
Turkey v Germany Lay Germany at 2.36. This steadfastly refused to move much – so closed out at 2.34, Loss of 0.62 points.
Serbia v Italy Buy Serbia at 2.36. This was an interesting trade in that initially this moved strongly in our favour, with the odds shortening to 2.26. The trend then showed signs of reversing, and as a result I closed the trade earlier than would normally be advised – at 2.28, a Gain of 3.33 points. It was a good job I did, as by the time the usual closure point came along the trade would have been in the red.
Anyway, all in all a good day, with a net gain of 3.83 points, from a 50% hit rate.
So, five days gone for The Paper Chaser
8 selections, 4 winners, 4 losers (50% hit rate).
Cumulative loss 1.62 points,
Betting bank 998.38 (from 1000 start point).
ROI (based on 800 points invested) – minus 0.2%.
Given there’s a learning curve to this type of system, that’s not a dispiriting start, and had I used a bot to enforce the stop loss on Tuesday, we’d be a couple of points up.
No trades for this system at the weekend – so I can take a breather!
