The Evening Value Service – Day 60

The Evening Value ServiceSgt Tony continues his review of The Evening Value Service

Hi All

Today is 30th July and Day 60 of our review. We started this review with a bank of £500 and are using £10 per point on a level stakes basis.

Kieran gave us 11 selections today:

18.50 Uttoxeter All That Remains 8.00 Sky, Tote, Sporting
19.20 Uttoxeter Molaise Lad 4.00 Generally
19.20 Uttoxeter Capricornus 9.00 Generally
19.50 Uttoxeter Allerford Jack 3.50 Sky, Sporting, SJ
20.50 Uttoxeter I Can Run Can You 21.00 Sportinjg, SJ, Lads, Coral
18.00 Wolves Star Up in the Sky 4.00 Generally
18.30 Wolves Honest Deal 3.75 Sky, Tote, Betfred, SJ
19.00 Wolves Irie Ute 11.00 Sky
20.05 Wolves Camache Queen 4.50 Generally
20.05 Wolves Bavarian Princess 13.00 Coral
21.05 Wolves Matjar 13.00 Tote, Betfred, Hills

Allerford Jack won at 3.50, Honest Deal won at 2.75 and Bavarian Princess won at 13.00 – the other 8 selections lost, giving us a profit for the day of £92.50 or 9.25 points at level stakes.

Our brought forward bank from last time was £606.70 but I have now managed to adjust the figures to take account of Kieran’s BOG odds, thus increasing the balance brought forward to 676.70 so, with the profit today of £92.50, our closing balance at the end of Day Sixty is £769.20 giving us a profit to date of £269.20 or 26.92 points at level stakes.

Only a short while left now until the first ‘watershed’ point of the review after 56 ‘betting’ days, where we have to ecide whether to fail the system or carry on to 84 days, after allowing for the ‘non-betting’ days’ on Sundays. I have calculated that we have already had 9 Sundays with no evening racing, 2 ‘Jubilee’ days with no evening racing and 2 days where racing was abandoned during the deluge (hard to imagine in this heat wave!). That means we will add at least another 13 ‘no betting’ days onto the total trial before we have to make a decision to continue or not. Please let me know if you need any further information about the service.

All the best

Sgt. Tony
