The Evening Value Service – Day 64

The Evening Value ServiceSgt Tony continues his review of The Evening Value Service

Hi All

Today is 3rd August and Day 64 of our review. We started this review with a bank of £500 and are using £10 per point on a level stakes basis.

Kieran gave us 17 selections today:

18.00 Bath Midas Moment 17.00 Generally
19.10 Bath Alvitude 7.00 Tote, Betfred, SJ
19.40 Bath Hidden Valley 6.00 SJ
19.40 Bath Handles for Forks 8.50 SJ
20.40 Bath Autocracy 5.50 Generally
17.50 Newmarket Restaurateur 6.50 Generally
17.50 Newmarket McBirney 21.00 Sky
18.20 Newmarket Chief Inspector 15.00 PP
19.30 Newmarket Mr David 6.00 Generally
18.10 Musselburgh Houston Dynamo 5.50 VC
18.10 Musselburgh Sohcahtoa 7.00 Sporting, Coral
18.10 Musselburgh Shy 13.00 SJ
18.45 Musselburgh Perfect Words 5.50 Generally

20.20 Musselburgh Rasaman 8.00 Tote, betfred, SJ, Coral
20.50 Musselburgh Gibraltar Road 4.50 Bet 365, SJ

Chief Inspector won at 15.00 and Mr. David won at 8.00 but the other 15 lost, giving us a profit for the day of £60.00 or 6.00 points at level stakes.

Our brought forward bank from last time was £954.20, so with the profit today of £60.00, our closing balance at the end of Day Sixty Four is £1,014.20 giving us a profit to date of £514.20 or 51.42 points at level stakes.

Only a short while left now until the first ‘watershed’ point of the review after 56 ‘betting’ days, where we have to ecide whether to fail the system or carry on to 84 days, after allowing for the ‘non-betting’ days’ on Sundays. I have calculated that we have already had 9 Sundays with no evening racing, 2 ‘Jubilee’ days with no evening racing and 2 days where racing was abandoned during the deluge (hard to imagine in this heat wave!). That means we will add at least another 13 ‘no betting’ days onto the total trial before we have to make a decision to continue or not. Please let me know if you need any further information about the service.

All the best

Sgt. Tony
