Tennis Picks – Days 57 to 63
Sgt Colin reviews Tennis Picks
Hi, Sgt Colin here, with the continued review of Tennis Picks, which as the name suggests is a tennis tipping service.
We’d made a great start, lost some of the early gains, only to rebound and build the bank to nearly 600 points, only to drop back again to level pegging. After the initial 56 days, that’s where we stood.
Day 57 – 10th June
3 selections – 6% of the bank staked, and all 3 lost. Not a good start!
Day 58 – 11th June
3 selections – and 12 points staked. 2 winners (one @ 2.05), so we made 17.2 points.
Day 59 – 12th June
Backed Federer, Monfils & Tsonga to cover handicaps – and all did. 52 points gained on the treble, up to 541 points.
Day 60 – 13th June
2 bets, one winner (backing Hewitt) – a small loss
Day 61 – 14th June
Only 1 winner from 3 bets, 12 points given back.
Day 62 – 15th June
Backed Cilic & Murray to cover the handicaps – which they did. 27 points back.
Day 63 – 16th June
Backed Fed to cover the handicap – which he didn’t quite do. This bet was a “push” – stakes returned.
Staking plan: Opening Bank: 500 points Gain to date: 55.12 Closing 555.12 Staked 1671. ROI 3%. Hit rate 55%
Level stakes: Opening bank: 100 points Gain to date: 0.2 points Closing 100.2 points. Staked 137. ROI 0%.
A better week – on to Wimbledon!
