Gaffa Tips Week 10
17th September 2013
Sgt Colin – Reviews Gaffa Tips
We started the week with the bank down at a very disappointing 68 points, with both golf & football selections sharing the blame. With only 3 weeks to go of this review, it is almost certain to end in the red. Could we see some recovery this week?
Golf Tips:
2 golf tournaments this week, the BMW in the US, and the KLM in Europe. Back to the usual approach, with 8 top 10 finisher selections, and 4 72 hole match bets.
Again, despite selecting the runners up in both tournaments (and another top 10 finisher), with only 1 winner from the match bets we ended 2.14 points down.
Overall we’re 20.6 points down from 145 points staked
Football Tips:
Another internationals week saw 4 wins from 6 selections from the midweek bets (up 1.4 points). Back to the domestic stuff at the weekend, and a full house from 4 selections. A strong profit of 4.25 points on the week, reducing the overall loss on football bets to 9.2 points from 77 points staked.
A rare winning week then, thanks to the football
- Opening Bank 100
- Staked 222 points
- Loss to date: 29.84
- Closing bank 70.16
Hit rate is a paltry 37%, and the ROI is -13%.
With a fortnight to go, it seems highly unlikely that this review will end in the black.
