I have delayed posting this update because today, 46 days in to our trial, we have been introduced to an alternative method in addition to our normal selections. This one is possibly even more convoluted than the original one, but it has apparently made £170 profit in the last 5 days betting £15 per race. We are betting on the first 2 favourites in the race. If the 1st favourite is priced lower than 2/1 we are to dutch them both, but if the 1st favourite is priced bigger than 2/1 we are to bet £5 on the 1st favourite and £10 on the 2nd favourite.
The one race selected today was the 4.10 at Nottingham. In the few minutes leading up to the race there were three horses very close in the betting, so that selecting two was difficult, and selecting the 1st favourite was not possible. In the end Flying Officer and High Jinx both set off at 3.75 ISP and John must have chosen correctly because he is claiming a £25 profit. I will add the results of this method as a note each day.
