Back to the old formula – Mercedes get first and second place but now with Nico Rosberg on top.
Here is the argument behind one bet:
<< Austrian Grand Prix
The lunatics are running the asylum!
That has to be the verdict after the bookmaking firms have priced-up Jenson Button at 3/1 to finish in the top-six of this weekend’s F1 race in Austria.
The English veteran is one of very few drivers that has previously raced at this circuit. Additionally his team is bringing a host of updates to their car this weekend and, vitally, he has already finished in the top-six four times from the seven races of the current season.
Sebastian Vettel has a similar four-from-six record but he is trading at 1/3. Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa have yet to finish in the top-six of any race in 2014 yet they are on offer at 6/4 and 5/6 respectively! It’s nonsensical.
With this circuit not too dissimilar to Canada – where Button claimed fourth spot – there is no negative pointers to the McLaren drivers prospects of taking his top-six finishing record to five-from-eight and he is certainly over-priced at 3/1.
