A great week followed by a below par Saturday, although very little lost with Bertiewhittle placing making it a hugely profitable week overall. I’m leaving the racing alone tomorrow and we go again Monday.

Very good run from Lozah last night, he came from last to finish 3rd and was perhaps left with a bit too much to do.

Showboating was a shade disappointing. They didn’t really go a good enough gallop for him in truth.

Bertiewhittle ran a stormer for 3rd. He was given a lot to do but he’s that type of horse so I can’t be too critical of the 7lb claimer on board.
Towerlands Park was awful, not quite sure where that leaves him going forward.

Sophisticated Heir wasn’t allowerd to give his true running, annoying as it shouldn’t happen but nothing we can do.

A good card from Sandown tomorrow however with the jumps season only in its starting stages I am quite happy to take a watching brief.
