Kyllachy Gala ran a really good race last time out at Wolves, that particular form line has been franked since and down another 2lb he looks to have a huge chance. He is well drawn in stall 5 and as long as he gets a good position early then he should take all the beating. Closely matched on form is Emenem and he is another I want on side. Simon Dow’s yard had a winner last week and this horse also went close. They are quite clearly returning to form. I like the booking of Adam Kirby on this horse, he’s the right sort of jockey to get the best out of him. Stall 6 is perfectly fine and he is versatile regarding tactics. I don’ see any issue backing both of these each way and that should secure profit from the race.

Shamshon is a nice price in here. He needs a fast pace over 5f’s and this race will surely be run to suit. There is a host of front runners in here and from stall 1 Shamshon should get the perfect tow into this. He will need some luck in running but that is racing and we have to take the risk. Josephine Gordon is an eye-catching booking for this yard.

Roundabout Magic has a terrific record over this C and D and has dropped to a very workable mark. Now 4lb below his last winning mark that came over this C and D he looks set to put in a very good display. He is very leniently priced considering and this race should set up perfectly. Entertaining Ben will set a good pace up front and as a strong travelling type from a low draw he should swing into this still on the bridle if getting a good trip around.

Jack Blane has caught my eye recently, he has been unlucky on his last few starts and given the way he has travelled recently this drop back in trip should be a positive. Stall 6 is a good draw over sprint trips at this track and it gives Makin options on board. As long as he breaks well and gets a good position then he will be finishing strongly.
