Waiting Patiently was a real favourite of mine last year. He won a grade 2 at Haydock when the mud was flying and he is a horse who needs cut to be seen at his best. That day he beat Politologue over this trip and I think he won with more in hand than the winning margins suggests. This race has been in mind for some time and with the ground turning in his favour I think he will be tough to beat. It won’t be easy with Belami Des Pictons coming here on a four timer however he has only been competing in class 3 novice chases and has yet to face a horse like Waiting Patiently. He does receive 6lb from Waiting Patiently which will even things out a little but I just think Waiting Patiently is a class above these if fully revved up.
