Weird day tomorrow, with Lingfield and Kempton cards I expected to have a few tips lined up however the Lingfield card is very poor and I only fancy one at Kempton. We will stick with just the one as there is no point tipping just for the sake of it. I already have a few lined-up for Thursday and both Friday/Saturday are looking interesting even at this early stage.

I am prepared to give Bridge Builder another chance here. We were on him last time out when well punted but after 100 yards I could have told you are money was done. A shade slow away he was bustled forward to take up his usual front running role however that position was already being filled by no less than three horses. This meant Bridge Builder was sent 4 wide around the first turn and then three wide down the straight before once again being pushed out 4 wide turning for home. The fact he still finished 5th and wasn’t beaten at all that far means we can massively upgrade his performance. Looking at tomorrow’s race there only appears to be two other pace angles. Compton Prince made all last time out however that isn’t his usual running style, he has stall 2 so is well drawn to attack but I would imagine they will want to take a lead given how he is usually ridden here. That leaves the door open, the other possible front runner is Light From Mars however he has stall 8 which is one wider than Bridge Builder so I am hoping we can secure a nice prominent position with little fuss and that should see him go very close.
