Yesterday we were cost dearly by two bad rides on the Pipe horses.Tanako Emery was given a ridiculous amount of ground to make up and Shaking Hands committed suicide by getting into a battle with Carruthers.He was then pulled up when in third, had he layed off that gallop he could have come through.Toubab was held up and then made errors , Walsh gave up and Farmer Matt well was the most blatant non trier Ive ever seen , as you know we get good info and have had good winners from this yard so I will be finding out what went on but Mr Brennan was not over busy shall we say and five minutes before the off big money was put up to lay him ,
Im up in Musselburgh today and we have three bets , Dontpaytheferryman will find this easier than last time when he ran into Swing Bowler who is off to Cheltenham next.
Island Life has cloudy lane to beat but is a specialist at this trip and im told Cloudy Lane is not fully fit.
Barenger has form with Tanerko Emery which was boosted yesterday and is fancied.The Nichols horse Salubrius has good form but doesn’t look the most resolute of battlers to me.
